A new project in Ethiopia, funded by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and implemented by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), aims to improve post-harvest management of key agricultural products in the Amhara region. The project will focus on maize, wheat, honey, and milk, and will allocate USD 1.5 million over four years. The project's objectives include building the capacity of stakeholders, producing and disseminating knowledge products, and supporting the establishment of Farmer Field Schools. It will also address gender issues by promoting women-friendly post-harvest handling and processing technologies. The project will be implemented in partnership with several organizations and will cover six Woredas in the East Gojam Zone.
