The National Agro-Products Quality Management Service announced on the 26th that it has begun inspection for the purchase of 450,000 tons (rice equivalent) of public reserve rice for the 2025 harvest, including powdered rice. The 330,000 tons of bagged rice, which has been dried after harvest, are being directly inspected by over 130 support offices and branches of the National Agro-Products Quality Management Service, while the 120,000 tons of un-dried harvested rice are being inspected by private inspectors at 363 drying and storage facilities across the country's rice processing complexes (RPC) since the end of August, in line with the harvest schedule.
