Nizhny Novgorod farmers have harvested 1.5 million tons of grain, covering 98% of the area, with the largest volumes from southern districts and significant contributions from central and northern zones. Additionally, 200 thousand tons of potatoes (60% of the plan) and 15 thousand tons of vegetables (45% of the area) have been collected. About a third of the sugar beet area has been harvested, yielding 145 thousand tons. Other crops like rapeseed, flax, and soybeans are also being harvested. Last year's grain harvest was a record 2.1 million tons.
