Non-mining energy exports from Colombia to the United States saw the highest growth since 2017, with an increase of 8.2% in the first eleven months of 2020, despite global commercial difficulties due to COVID-19. The growth in non-mining energy exports to the United States meant a greater participation with 59.9% of sales to that country. The growth was mainly driven by processed foods, fish farming, cosmetics and grooming, animal or vegetable oils and fats, and dairy. The departments with the greatest commercial dynamism with the United States were Antioquia, Bogotá DC, Cundinamarca, Valle del Cauca, and Atlántico.
