Norwegian salmon prices ending 2023 near where they started

The average price of a kilogram of Atlantic salmon farmed in Norway reached NOK 84.14 (USD 8.15, EUR 7.44) in week 50 of 2023, very close to where the price was a year prior.Between weeks 50 and 52 of 2022, the aver per-kilo price of farmed Norwegian salmon was stretched between NOK 78.00 (USD 7.56, EUR 6.90) and NOK 86.00 (USD 8.33, EUR 7.60).This week's price increased over last week by NOK 0.32 (USD 0.03, EUR 0.02), or 0.38 percent, according to The Nasdaq Salmon Index.
