Naju City is accepting pre-applications for the prevention of pear and apple tree blight from farmers who cultivate these crops in preparation for next year. According to Naju City (Mayor Yoon Byung-tae) as of the 25th, the application period is until December 16, and application forms can be submitted to the administrative welfare center in the town, township, or neighborhood where the orchards are located. The city is promoting pre-applications to secure and stabilize the supply of pesticides for timely prevention, and the target is farmers cultivating pears and apples within Naju City. Hyung Nam-yeol, Director of the Naju Agricultural Technology Center, emphasized, "Active participation from farmers is crucial for preventing pear and apple tree blight" and urged, "Farmers must apply by the deadline to receive the preventive pesticides."
