The National Commodity Exchange (NCE) is starting the testing of anonymous wheat trading. The launch of spot trading is being carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, the Bank of Russia, the Union of Grain Exporters and Producers, as well as participants of the grain market. The trading will be conducted with 4th class wheat with a protein content of 12.5%. In the process of conducting these bilateral anonymous auctions, market participants will be able to submit counter bids for purchase and sale with the indication of price and volume of production. If the parameters of the counter bids match, a deal is concluded, according to the NCE website. For testing, two "exchange pits" will be available with rail (minimum lot size—70 tons) and road (minimum lot size—30 tons) delivery.
