The "Bonelet" farm in the Odesa region harvests two crops of artichoke — from mid-July and in September-October. This was explained in an interview with the magazine "Gardening in Ukrainian" by Alina Sidenko, the founder of the enterprise. "Such a long harvest season is a feature of the crop: after the first cut, it can be allowed to grow a second vegetation, and it produces additional shoots. However, not all plants behave the same way: one may produce five inflorescences, another only one. Therefore, we continue to experiment to understand whether it is worth leaving the artichoke for a second vegetation," she explained.
