The Llauradora Union foresees a lower than expected olive harvest overall in the Valencian Community, with a productive recovery after a past campaign "disastrous as a consequence of the significant decline caused by the drought, but still far from what was predicted". The greater or lesser productive recovery in relation to the past campaign will depend on the different producing areas in our territory and in some it will be even 40% less than initially expected. Spring rains allowed an excellent flowering of the fruit, which made a higher harvest seem possible, but the estimate has gone down due to the poor setting, especially because of the high temperatures this past summer.
