Brazil is the largest producer and exporter of coffee in the world, responsible for approximately one third of global production, and is expected to harvest an estimated crop of 55.7 million 60 kg bags in 2025, according to the National Supply Company (Conab), a 2.7% growth compared to the previous year. In this scenario, connectivity emerges as a strategic element to ensure that national coffee farming remains competitive, sustainable, and prepared to meet the growing demands of consumer markets. ConectarAGRO, an association that aims to promote the expansion of internet access, in partnership with the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), conducted an unprecedented survey on the presence of 4G and 5G internet in Brazilian coffee farms, cross-referencing production data with digital coverage.
