REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Andi Amran Sulaiman directly led a national donation drive for the victims of the natural disaster in Sumatra. The humanitarian action, held at the Aula Gedung F of the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan), Jakarta, on Tuesday (2/12/2025), was conducted openly and in real-time, with participation from Kementan employees, the National Food Agency (Bapanas), and agricultural sector business partners. In just one hour, Mentan's call successfully gathered around Rp 75.85 billion. Despite the large amount, Mentan emphasized that all donations were collected without any coercion. Everyone was given the opportunity to donate according to their ability.
