The Brazilian government is pleased with Gabon's acceptance of a proposal for an International Zoosanitary Certificate, enabling the export of cattle and buffaloes for reproduction. In 2023, Gabon imported over US$46 million in Brazilian agribusiness products, with the meat sector accounting for 85% of exports. This development marks Brazil's 75th market opening of the year, with a total of 153 openings in 53 countries since 2023, following a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
