At the All-Russian Grain Forum in Sochi, Anton Karmazin, Deputy Head of Rosselkhoznadzor, reported significant progress in opening new markets for Russian grain, with exports expected to surpass the previous season despite challenges. The main buyers are Middle Eastern, African, Asian countries, and the Eurasian Union, with wheat being the primary export. China and Venezuela have granted Russia the right to supply peas, and exports to several other countries have resumed. Grain processing products have boosted exports, and Russia is experiencing increased deliveries to China. However, Karmazin stressed the importance of adhering to import requirements and announced improvements to simplify the export process, including an online phytosanitary certificate service and a updated 'Argus-Fito' integration. The department will continue to work towards removing barriers to Russian grain supply.
