The Orenburg region in Russia has seen a 15% increase in agricultural exports in the first 11 months of 2021 compared to the previous year, exporting goods worth $189.9 million. The main exports include fats and oils, cereals, and residues and feed for animals. Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan are the main importers of these products. The region also leads in the export of bird eggs, with 20% of Russia's total egg exports, primarily to Kazakhstan. The launch of a lecithin production line has also seen exports of this product increase from 0.1 thousand tons in 2020 to 0.3 thousand tons in 2021, with the Netherlands being the main importer. The region aims to increase its agricultural exports to $206.5 million by the end of 2024.
