Over the past week, 4.8 million eggs were imported into Russia

Last week, from April 15 to 21, Rosselkhoznadzor controlled the supply of 4.8 million chicken edible eggs from Azerbaijan to the Russian market. This was reported in the press service of the department. The shipment, like most others before, was again sent through the Yarag-Kazmalyar checkpoint. No supply irregularities or problems with product quality were identified. In total, since the opening of duty-free import of eggs, the republic has imported 29.3 million eggs into our country. Let us remind you that they are also supplied to our country by Belarus and Türkiye. Since the beginning of the year, they have exported 148 million and 12.3 million eggs, respectively.
