Overview of the grain industry in the Orenburg region

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Trade, Food and Processing Industry of the Orenburg Region, in 2025, the area harvested for cereals and legumes in farms of all categories in the Orenburg region amounted to 2,423.5 thousand hectares, sunflower for grain - 1.4 million hectares, forage crops - 351.5 thousand hectares. In total, 4,352.7 thousand hectares were to be harvested. The gross harvest of cereals and legumes in the Orenburg region was forecast at 4 million tons.
