As of November 7, Ukraine has completed a significant portion of its crop harvest, with 9.68 million tons of sunflower, 5.82 million tons of soybeans, and 20.24 million tons of corn harvested. The country has also sown a portion of its winter crops, including 4,296 thousand ha of winter wheat. In the recent week, Ukraine has been a major exporter of corn, wheat, soybeans, rapeseed, sunflower oil, and soybean oil. Demand for these products varies globally, with China importing the highest volume of soybeans in the last 4 years and the European Union increasing its corn imports by 8% for the 2024/25 marketing year. The European wheat market faces high supply and low demand, keeping prices stable, while Ukraine's wheat prices remain unaffected by low demand. Sunflower prices in Ukraine have hit record highs due to a lack of seed offers with a high oil content, although some processors have tried to lower prices. Soybean prices in the EU remained stable, while in Ukraine, they have decreased due to increased offerings.
