In November, Paraguay experienced a significant increase in the export price of meat, reaching US$ 5,561 per ton, a 18% rise from July. This is the highest average export price for the country since the latter half of 2011, according to Andrés Oyhenard from Tardáguila Agromercados Consulting Firm. The price of cattle peaked at US$ 3.50 or US$ 3.60 per ton, largely due to increases in Brazil. The United States has emerged as a key market, importing over 25 thousand tons of Paraguayan meat in less than a year, surpassing traditional markets like Brazil and Israel.
