After sustained technical management work, the National Agrarian Health Service (Senasa) signed the Operative Work Plan, which establishes the procedures and phytosanitary requirements for the export of Peruvian Hass avocados to the Philippines, a market with over 110 million consumers. This agreement is the result of a bilateral cooperation process between Peru's Senasa and the Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI) of the Philippine Department of Agriculture, which culminated in the definition of the phytosanitary requirements for the entry of the Peruvian product, ensuring traceability and agrarian health throughout the export chain.
