Peru to resume exports of table grapes to Ecuador

After 8 years of suspension, Peru will once again export grapes to the Ecuadorian market, after the signing of an agreement between the National Agrarian Health Service (Senasa) and the Phyto and Zoosanitary Regulation and Control Agency (Agrocalidad) of Ecuador, in a bilateral meeting held in the Tumbes region. In this way, Peru, a world leader in grape production and export, will be able to restart exports of this fruit to Ecuador, which represents a market of 18 million potential consumers. This document was signed in the framework of a working meeting that included the participation of authorities and representatives of the Regional Government of Tumbes, the Chamber of Commerce of Huaquillas, authorities of the Public Organizations Attached (OPD) of Midagri and exporters and importers of both countries.
