Peru has seen a 40% increase in grape exports in the first quarter of the 2023-2024 campaign, reaching USD 1,058 million, as reported by the Agro-Export Management of the Exporters Association (ADEX). This surge is due to climate change advancing the campaign and a rise in demand from Asian countries. Over 50 grape varieties are exported, with White Seedless being the most popular. The primary markets are the US, the Netherlands, Mexico, Hong Kong, China, the UK, Canada, Spain, Taiwan, and South Korea, with the most significant growth seen in Hong Kong, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Mexico, and Guatemala.
