Domestic smart vertical farming company Plantifarm is establishing a state-led smart farm model in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, a holy city in Saudi Arabia. Plantifarm announced on the 21st that it signed a contract for the "Al Madina Vertical Farm Project" with King Saud University, which oversees the project on behalf of the Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, and Alpha Deem Co., which is responsible for project design and supervision, at its headquarters in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province. The signing ceremony was attended by Mekhleed Alenzi, Vice President of King Saud University, and Osama Al-Turki, CEO of Alpha Deem Co.
