The Undersecretary of Agricultural, Livestock, and Forestry Production of the Ministry of Economy granted new "Argentine Bioproduct" certificates to five developments carried out by universities and institutions such as INTA and Conicet, within the framework of the initiative that distinguishes products whose origin is bio-based. The National University of Quilmes (UNQ) harvested two recognitions for the products "Smart labels based on kefir granules and yerba mate residues" and "Films of residual brewer's yeast," both developed by Dr. Mercedes Peltzer. The first, highlighted by resolution 13/2025, was created in the Laboratory of Obtaining, Modification, Characterization, and Evaluation of Materials of the UNQ.
