Poultry meat: consumption will continue to gain prominence in the world

According to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO, referred to as OECD-FAO Agricultural Outlook), the global meat consumption landscape for the decade 2025-2034 will be marked by moderate growth—in absolute terms—and profound changes in regional food preferences. In this regard, poultry meat will continue to gain prominence due to its economic, nutritional, and environmental advantages, to the point of presumably reaching 62% of total global meat.
