Prices for sunflower and soybeans in Ukraine are gradually increasing.

Over the past week, the sunflower market in Ukraine has seen a rise in prices. This was primarily driven by high competition among processors for the available supply, reports APK-Inform. It is noted that given the significant reduction in oilseed production in 2025, the overall supply of raw materials, although seasonally quite high, remains insufficient in the context of increasing processing capacities, especially in the central and southern regions. "The weak positive price dynamics in the sunflower oil sector also contributed to the sustained growth in the sunflower sector, however, prices for raw materials increased more intensively compared to the market for processed products. Purchase prices for sunflower rose to 28400-29500 UAH/t CPT-enterprise," the report states. At the same time, companies that were more focused on processing soybeans or rapeseed indicated demand prices for sunflower at 27500-27700 UAH/t CPT, experts add.
