Scanntech data shows that in November, the average price of rice dropped significantly by -34.5% compared to the same period last year, while beans were -13.1% cheaper. Nonetheless, consumption continued to shrink: sales in units fell by -1.7% for rice and -3.9% for beans, a recurring dynamic throughout the entire year of 2025.
