The Maule Region in Chile saw a significant increase in exports in 2024, with a total value of US$3,302 million, marking a 13.5% increase from the previous year. The majority of these exports were driven by the agricultural sector, which accounted for US$2,267 million of the total. Key agricultural exports included fresh fruits such as cherries, apples, blueberries, and kiwis. The region also exported significant amounts of agro-industrial products like processed tomatoes, fruit pulp, and jam, as well as pork and frozen fruits. Additionally, the forestry industry contributed US$719 million to exports, marking a 37% increase from the previous year. Wine was another major export, bringing in US$389 million. The main destinations for these exports were China, the United States, and Brazil.
