Chilean cherry exports hit a record high of US$1,555 million in January 2024, marking a 27.5% increase from the previous year, as per the ProChile Non-Copper – Non-Lithium Export Report. The majority of these exports, 93%, were destined for China. The report also noted significant growth in the exports of fresh blueberries, grapes, peaches, and nectarines. Over the past 20 years, Chile's cherry exports have surged by over 5,000%, making it the world's leading supplier.
