With an emphasis on transforming cattle breeding into a more sustainable and profitable model through the use of natural pasture, the various stages of Procría, a program for the promotion, innovation, and technical support for cattle families, are being carried out. The initiative targets 1,000 producers of calves and lambs, located mostly in the northern and eastern areas of the country, where family-scale and medium-scale enterprises in natural pastures are concentrated. The national reach of the initiative is one of the objectives.
