The Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Export and Tourism (Promperú) reported that the tourism and export business meetings held on October 2 as part of Expo Amazónica San Martín 2025 reached a total of $14,798,000 in trade projections over 12 months. In the international export meeting, 45 entrepreneurs from San Martín, Madre de Dios, Ucayali, Huánuco, Cusco, among other regions, held negotiation meetings with 26 buyers from strategic markets in Asia, Europe, and America. The immediate result was the conclusion of $2 million in agreements at the table, which, added to the expectations, raised the total to over $14.3 million in exports. The tourism meeting also developed with high participation. It brought together 30 buyers (20 national and 10 international) and 20 operators from San Martín, Ucayali, Loreto, Amazonas, Madre de Dios, Cusco, and Huánuco, who held 309 business meetings to present tourism packages and travel experiences.
