Egypt: Protection and Development of Lakes Authority announces the opening of European markets to fish products

Major General A.H. Al-Hussein Farhat, Executive Director of the Lakes Protection and Fish Resources Development Authority, congratulated fishermen, fishing boat owners, producers and exporters of marine fish products, on the positive response of the European inspection mission that took place during the period from May 27 to June 7, by opening the door to exporting fish products from natural fisheries to the European Union and the access of marine fish products to European markets in the coming days. A statement by the Authority added that the approval came after a hiatus of more than three years.
