According to the Prozerno Analytical Center, the current grain export from the Russian Federation in June amounts to 907.8 thousand tons, including:
▪ wheat – 849 thousand tons,
▪ corn – 33.1 thousand tons,
▪ peas – 12.2 thousand tons,
▪ chickpeas – 12.6 thousand tons.
Taking into account the current grain export rates, in June 2025, grain exports from Russia may reach a record low of 1.5-1.6 million tons, thus, the total export volume since the quota took effect will be 7.9-8 million tons, or 75% of the total quota of 10.6 million tons, reports Vladimir Petrichenko, head of the Prozerno Analytical Center, in his Telegram channel.
At present, Russian grain exporters have exported 7.4 million tons of wheat since the quota took effect (February 15, 2025), which is 69% of the total quota.
"We will sum up the export results for the 2024-25 season at the Baltic Grain Assembly 2025, which will be held on July 3-4, 2025, in St. Petersburg," Petrichenko wrote.
