Executives from six Asian countries visited western Bahia to learn about the quality control of Brazilian cotton. After an immersion in Mato Grosso cotton farming, the Buyers' Mission, from the Brazilian Association of Cotton Producers (Abrapa), went to Bahia, the second-largest producing state. In Western Bahia, the delegation consisting of 20 executives from textile industries from six different Asian countries learned more about how Brazil carries out the control and classification of cotton quality indicators.
