The Santa Rosa region has seen beneficial rainfall for its corn crops, leading to positive growth and development among producers. However, the wet conditions have slowed the sowing of new crops such as soybean, edible beans, and rice, with some areas experiencing difficulty in drainage. Despite these challenges, horticultural production in Quaraí is reported to be adequate with limited pest and disease issues. Meanwhile, vine cultivation, including peaches and strawberries, is growing well with the necessary phytosanitary treatments. The number of fruit flies captured is low, indicating a reduced need for control measures.
