The '43rd Sugar Beet Purchase Campaign' in Muş, Turkey, has concluded with a record 520 thousand tons of sugar beet delivered by 1,711 farmers across 58 villages, covering 85 thousand acres. This surpassed the expected 450 thousand tons due to a productive season. The process is projected to boost the local economy by approximately 2.5 billion TL through the production of around 55 thousand tons of sugar and the payment of 1.25 billion TL in net beet price to farmers, along with other costs such as transportation and farmer rations.
