Review of retail prices for food products in the Novosibirsk region

Over the month, the cost of vegetables, chicken eggs, butter, pasteurized milk, and sour cream decreased in the region. According to Novosibirskstat data, over the month (from June 30 to July 28) in the stores of the Novosibirsk region, the average cost of cucumbers significantly decreased (by 29.2%, to 93.05 RUB/kg), beets (by 18.4%, to 65.54 RUB/kg), potatoes (by 16.2%, to 76.65 RUB/kg), tomatoes (by 14.6%, to 161.85 RUB/kg), white cabbage (by 11.3%, to 54.87 RUB/kg), carrots (by 6.9%, to 69.26 RUB/kg), onions (by 5.4%, to 59.79 RUB/kg), fruit and berry preserves for baby food (by 5.1%, to 546.38 RUB/kg), and also vegetable preserves for baby food (by 3.1%, to 590.22 RUB/kg). There was an increase in prices for wheat bread and bakery products (by 1.5%, to 100.57 RUB/kg), wheat flour (by 0.9%, to 50.51 RUB/kg). Rye and rye-wheat bread averaged 118.81 RUB/kg.
