Russia has the potential to dominate the global market for organic wild plants, accounting for up to 20%, due to its vast forest area and abundant biological reserves of wild berries, nuts, fruits, mushrooms, and birch sap. These resources are environmentally friendly and align with global trends in healthy and organic food consumption. Currently, Russia is exporting a fraction of its wild plant harvest, primarily to European countries and China, but there is potential for significant increase in exports, particularly for pine nuts, berries, herbs, and mushrooms.
