Russia has solidified its position as a net exporter of food and agricultural products since 2020, with significant contributions to the global wheat market, supplying one-fourth of it. The country has also boosted its production of cheese, beef, and turkey, aided by food sanctions since 2014 that have strengthened domestic production. In 2022, Russia exported over 100 million tons of agricultural products valued at $43.5 billion, with plans to increase this to over 108 million tons. By 2030, agricultural exports are projected to grow by at least 1.5 times, with production rising by 25% from 2021 levels.
