In the first quarter of this year, Russia has seen a significant boost in its agricultural exports, particularly in farm animals and livestock products, marking a 2.2-fold increase compared to the previous year. The export of cattle alone surged by 6.8 times, primarily to Georgia and Kazakhstan, alongside notable increases in pig and small ruminant exports to Georgia and Lebanon, respectively. Furthermore, there has been a substantial rise in the export of various meats (pork, lamb, goat, and poultry), finished meat products, and dairy goods to a diverse range of countries including Belarus, Vietnam, Serbia, Iran, China, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan, with Vietnam also importing more food by-products from Russia.
