Ministry of Agriculture: Russia to increase raw milk production in 2025

Russian producers of raw milk will continue to expand the production of this product next year. As reported by the Ministry of Agriculture, this was discussed at a meeting between the head of the ministry, Oksana Lut, and industry representatives dedicated to the situation on the dairy market. The minister noted that increasing the production of raw materials is a priority. According to her, over the first nine months of this year, it increased to 26.1 million tons (the official data for milk use hard units of measurement - ROSNG), which is 0.7 percent more than for the same period in 2023. The ministry also cited Rosstat data on production last year. It amounted to 33.811 million tons, or 2.5% more year-on-year.
