Russia has asked Kazakhstan to increase the supply of chicken eggs to their retail chains, following lifted restrictions on the supply of livestock products. Kazakhstan exported about 186.6 million chicken eggs to Russia, Afghanistan, and Kyrgyzstan last year, and has agreed to consider increasing supply to the border regions of the Russian Federation. The two countries also plan to hold a bilateral meeting in Moscow to resolve issues with delays of Kazakh trucks at the Russian-Belarusian border.
