In 2023, the export volume of lentils from the Black and Azov Seas trading ports increased by 5 times compared to the same period in 2022, reaching 100 thousand tons. The lentils were exported under the supervision of specialists from the Novorossiysk branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Grain Quality Assessment Center”, who examined over 700 samples for safety and quality. Traditional consumers of Russian lentils are India, Turkey, UAE, Pakistan, Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, and new deliveries were made to Bahrain, Ecuador, Kenya, EU countries, and Georgia.
