Grain exports from Russia have decreased by 12.6% in the first two decades of this month, mainly due to a decrease in wheat exports. The main importers of wheat, including Egypt, Turkey, and Bangladesh, significantly reduced their purchases. However, there has been an improvement in exports to non-traditional buyers, such as Algeria, Yemen, and Kenya, suggesting a higher demand for Russian products in these regions. The decrease in exports may be attributed to technical restrictions imposed by the US, EU countries, and their partners, leading to a decrease in the number of ports and exporting companies involved in grain shipments.
