Russia: Ryazan producers continue to harvest strawberries

Ryazan farmers collect garden strawberries, which most city residents are accustomed to calling strawberries. Three enterprises are engaged in garden strawberries, which grow this berry crop on 37 hectares. As of June 19, 96 tons of strawberries have been harvested. LLC Avangard of the Ryazan region (trade chain Products of the Native Land) collected 40 tons of strawberries, the farm Starozhilovskie Berries and Fruits (IP Ayubov S.A. Starozhilovsky district) collected 53 tons, and the farm Berries of Ryazan (IP Bizhonov A.G. Ryazan region) - 3 tons. The harvest of local strawberries immediately goes to the enterprises’ own retail outlets, and is also sold at Ryazan markets and Saturday fairs.
