In a significant advancement reported in Nature Communications, Belgian scientists have developed an AI model capable of predicting beer ratings and identifying flavor-enhancing aromatic compounds. This development comes after a comprehensive five-year study involving 15 experts who analyzed beers on 50 different criteria, successfully linking chemical concentrations to flavor profiles across numerous beer varieties. The AI can autonomously predict top flavors and overall scores. Additionally, a survey revealed that 37% of Russians prefer non-alcoholic beer and wine, though 17% were unaware of such options.
