Scottish fishermen and processors have expressed approval for a new fisheries agreement between the UK and the Faroes, set to provide increased fishing opportunities for the Scottish fleet in 2024. The deal includes an additional 920 tonnes of cod and haddock, 600 tonnes of saithe, 180 tonnes of ling and blue ling, and 10 tonnes of redfish, along with extra tonnages of flatfish and other species.
