The Institute of Management, Planning and Development of Viticulture of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (Consevitis-RS) has partnered with Sebrae Nacional to launch the 'Strengthening Brazilian Viticulture' project, aimed at boosting domestic consumption of Brazilian wines and sparkling wines. The project, which starts in October 2024 and ends in December 2025, will invest over R$2.4 million, with the goal to benefit the entire wine production chain, from individual microentrepreneurs to large wineries. The main focus will be on seven priority states, targeting key grape-producing and wine tourism regions, and will implement strategies such as expanding consumer markets, quality improvement, formalization of small producers, and promoting Brazilian wine regions.
