(Agraria.pe) Seedless white grapes, especially licensed ones, concentrate the largest volume exported by Peru, reported the Peruvian Association of Table Grape Producers and Exporters of Peru (Provid). It pointed out that Peru exports more than 50 varieties of table grapes, the most demanded in international markets being the sweet globe, autumn crisp, allison, sweet celebration, sheegene 2, timpson, red globe, sweet globe, sugar crisp, Ivory, and timpson. The association detailed that in the 2024/2025 campaign, Peru exported 680,704 tons of table grapes (83,012,725 boxes of 8.2 kilos each), registering an increase of 32.30% compared to the 514,516 tons (62,745,826 boxes) shipped in the previous campaign (2023-2024). It reported that Ica was the main exporting region of table grapes in Peru in the 2024/2025 campaign, shipping 340,827 tons (41,564,279 boxes), which represented an increase of 18.58% versus the 287,414 tons (35,050,520 boxes) sent in the previous campaign.
