In the 2021/22 agricultural year, Russia emerged as a significant exporter of grain and its processed products, with a total export volume of 11.5 million tons. These exports were distributed to 122 countries, with the Middle East being the largest recipient, followed by Africa and Asia. Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and several North and West African countries showed the highest increase in imports. The European Union also imported 0.8 million tons from Russia, with 13 out of 22 European countries increasing their purchases. Notably, Germany resumed importing camelina from Russia.
