The Kaliningrad region in Russia has seen significant agricultural exports since the start of 2021, with a total value of USD 924.3 million and a volume of 1,537.2 thousand tons, excluding trade with EAEU countries in June and July. The fat and oil industry is the largest contributor to these exports, with 48.1% of the total value, including soybean and rapeseed oils. Other exports include residues and waste from the food industry, ready-made animal feed, oilseeds, and cereals. The main buyers of these products are China, Norway, and Algeria for fat and oil products, and Norway, Denmark, and the Netherlands for residues and animal feed. The main recipients of oilseeds and cereals are Belarus, Belgium, and Lithuania, respectively. The largest Russian soybean processor, Sodruzhestvo Group, plays a significant role in these exports.
